CATCH is the Coordinated Approach To Child Health. The goal of the program is to promote physical activity, healthy food choices, and prevent tobacco use in elementary school aged children. Ask your child to tell you about 'Slow, Go, and Whoa foods.'

- Increase moderate to vigorous physical activity.
- Increase fruit & vegetable consumption.
- Decrease TV viewing to no more than 2 hours per day.
- Decrease sugar sweetened beverage consumption (i.e. sodas, energy drinks, vitamin water, sports drinks, etc).
Did you know that we all need 60 minutes of physical activity each day? Growing bodies need 8-10 hours of sleep each night. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Experts recommend that you eat 5-9 servings of fruits and vegetables every day. Our bodies are made up of approximately 60% water. We should drink eight 8 oz glasses of water each day to replenish what we lose each day.
